This holiday ditty uses data from the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration to paint a picture in sound of weather conditions in Middletown, Connecticut, from September 22nd 2012 to December 12 2012. The movement of the Sun and Moon, as well recordings of weather data such as temperature, wind speed, dew point, and precipitation, are used to control parameters for different types of sound synthesis by playing back the recorded data at nearly 30,000 times normal speed so that a single day last a little more than three seconds.
